Sop updating procedure

Most of this documentation is in writing, but who wants to read an operation’s manual? Our system brings procedures to life with the ability to add photos, screenshots, videos, audio clips, hyperlinks to documents, websites and much more.OHSS have created a SOP template (docx 109kb) for use by units. The template is flexible enough to apply to most work activities, can be personalised to suit individual needs and includes a document management system.Intelli SOP allows administrators to see the version history of an SOP, that is, whenever a version of an SOP supersedes one or more SOPs, then these are chained together, so you are always aware of the changes and how the SOP evolved historically. You are always able to prepare future drafts of an SOP and include them in the chain, so that you can have the full picture, even about the SOPs to come. This type of format ensures that you are hitting on all the different learning styles people have, thus maximizing your potential to get your message across. Type in what your step-by-step procedures are, upload graphics, documents and more.Involve your staff in this creation so they can be engaged in the process and are more likely to implement these procedures.

This is a big time saver and error minimizing feature.

ALTER PROCEDURE [dbo].[sp_Client Notes_update] @id uniqueidentifier, @ordering smallint = NULL, @title nvarchar(20) = NULL, @content text = NULL AS BEGIN SET NOCOUNT ON; UPDATE tbl_Client Notes SET [email protected], [email protected], [email protected] WHERE [email protected] END I would like to only set the values if they are passed into the SP, i.e. ALTER PROCEDURE [dbo].[sp_Client Notes_update] @id uniqueidentifier, @ordering smallint = NULL, @title nvarchar(20) = NULL, @content text = NULL AS BEGIN SET NOCOUNT ON; UPDATE tbl_Client Notes SET ordering=ISNULL(@ordering,ordering), title=ISNULL(@title,title), content=ISNULL(@content, content) WHERE [email protected] END is correct here because any of those fields could be nullable.

This question seems to suggest the only way is using completely separate queries with conditionals, but for 3 optional parameters this would obviously be a nightmare!
