Colin is an Associate of Douglas Partners (DP) with over 12 years’ experience in geotechnical and environmental engineering consulting.
He graduated from the University of Newcastle with a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil and Environmental) with Honours.
Adams focus is to provide a high quality testing service, accurate test results that can be relied on and to understand and meet client expectations.
In his spare time, Adam enjoys spend time with his wife and three children, fishing, breeding chooks, and all aspects of the dairy and beef farm lifestyle.
Since 2008, Mick has worked predominantly on mining projects, covering a mix of both prefeasibility and operational mines, including Underground and Open Cut Operations.
Mick’s more recent responsibilities have included: project management and technical delivery of groundwater impact assessments for the Kemmis II Pit and Mulgrave Pit Expansion (South Walker Creek) for BHP Mitsui Coal, annual reviews and trigger assignment for South Walker Creek, technical delivery of Rio Tinto Coal Australia’s Hail Creek Groundwater Modelling Project (and Groundwater Impact Assessment), and a groundwater impact assessment for the Urquhart Bauxite Project at Cape York Peninsula.
Mick has been engaged as an expert witness as part of the impact assessment process, so is well placed to advise clients of the approval process from beginning to end.
John has 37 years experience in the geotechnical laboratory field.
Other major infrastructure projects which Dave has had involvement with are the Kooragang Island Coal Terminal, Hunter River Remediation projects, Williamtown RAAF Base Upgrade and many rail shutdown projects throughout the Hunter Valley.
Jim is an Associate Environmental Geologist at Douglas Partners' Melbourne Office and has over 12 years experience in environmental and geotechnical consulting.
Colin has experience in a wide variety of geotechnical investigations including subdivision development, infrastructure projects and multi-storey buildings across the ACT and surrounding areas.
He has had a significant involvement in the investigation and ongoing geotechnical consulting for most of the new residential suburb construction in Canberra that have been constructed since 2008 including: Forde, Casey, Bonner, Moncrieff, Throsby, Taylor, Ngunnawal, Crace, Macgregor, Lawson, Wright, Coombs, Denman Prospect and South Quay (Greenway).
