She was one of three children born to the late Milton and Minnie Palestrant and was the beloved wife of Robert Gould for over 50 years. Richard Gould, and will forever be remembered by her devoted daughters, Carol Small and Barbara De Vuono; loving sons-in-law, Hal Klein and Rick De Vuono; treasured grandchildren: Lindsey (Michael) Delrahim, Ryan Small of Chicago, IL, Paul (Eleyah) Frields, Kevin Frields, and Erin (James) Ralph of Virginia; many precious great-grandchildren, along with countless other friends and family whom were blessed to know her.Shirley loved traveling, going to movies, reading, being with her family and having fun with friends.She was energetic, full of life and a generous friend to all.She is survived by her loving father, Morris Kaplan; beloved children: Deborah (Buckner) Tomlin and David Mink; much loved sister, Dana Camodeca (Dr.Silvio) of Des Plaines, IL; devoted brother, Steve Kaplan (Ilene) of Chicago, IL; her cherished grandsons: Dylan Tomlin and Miles Hatchett; and many lifelong family and friends.Helm was a former partner in the Merchant Ice and Storage with his brother-in-law, Ernest Camentz, and was a member of The Temple, as well as being a former member of the Board of Trustees there.He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Barbara "Bobbie;" sons: Dr.Lawrence (Tracy) and Craig Rouben (Willow); daughters: Leann Culbertson (Mark) and Celeste Barone (Tom) of Davidson, NC; grandchildren: Alec Rouben and Hudson Rouben, Tessa and Seth Culbertson, and Harrison and Kyle Barone; also brother Alvin Rouben (Dorothy) of San Diego, CA; and sister, Leba Frank (Werner); as well as many lifelong family and friends.
Karla Mink, 58, died Friday, May6, 2011, at Hardin Memorial Hospital.
Shirley was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio, and lived most of her life in Louisville, Kentucky.
She spent many years working alongside her husband as a bookkeeper for their company.
He was a veteran of the Navy and served in World War II. Gould, September 11, 1922 - May 23, 2011, resident of Delray, Florida.
After a long and fulfilling life, Shirley passed away peacefully at her daughter's home in Boynton Beach, Florida.
